Acadia University

Acadia's campus sits on 250 acres in the quintessential university town of Wolfville. Steps away are vineyards, orchards, and the world's highest tides, all of which serve as living laboratories for student and faculty researchers.

Established in 1838, Acadia is one of the oldest and most respected liberal arts universities in the country. Campus architecture reflects 180 years of progress. The K.C. Irving Environmental Science Centre and the Harriet Irving Botanical Gardens provide facilities for a wide variety of research, teaching, and community involvement activities, as well as a beautiful location for studying, meetings, or just relaxing. Other resources include the Irving Biodiversity Collection, the largest herbarium in Eastern North America and a living collection of over 600 species of plants of the Acadian Forest Region.

Acadia's four faculties Arts, Pure and Applied Sciences, Professional Studies, and Theology offer more than 200 degree combinations in its undergraduate academic programs and graduate programs. Some of the most popular majors are in biology, marketing, English, psychology, environmental studies, and kinesiology.
